Precious Islamic works should be translated into other languages

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hojat al-Islam val-moslemin Mehdi Abdullahi said: “Nowadays Iran and the world are demanding credible sources of religious and Islamic thoughts however trustworthy and presentable writings are limited. It seems that choosing a good writing, translating it precisely and presenting the translation to the world could be done through the event’s organizers and the seminary’s officials.” His book, Ultimate Perfection of Man and its Achievement According to Islamic Philosophers, was awarded in the award’s philosophy and Kalam section. Talking about his motives, the writer added: “Works of writers and translators which are evaluated by experts in scientific sessions, are indeed encouraged more.” The 14th Seminary Book of the Year Award was held with the aim of introducing, identifying and praising writers of books and their works. The event was held in Qom in the presence of high profile seminary officials, religious writers, senior seminary professors, heads of various seminary centers, and representatives of seminaries from various parts of Iran.End item/ 149
